Welcome to Sunlife. Our juices are joyfully made every day, all day, and are then packaged where they have a 5 day shelf life. Our juices can also be frozen, and left to defrost at room temperature, which will maintain their delicious fresh taste and all their nutrition. We do not add any Chemicals, Additives, Added Sugar, Preservatives, HPP High Pressure Processing – Pasteurisation, Animal Products, Gluten, Dairy or Added Water to our products. Our online orders are for our juice cleanses only, but come and visit us in-store for our Cold pressed juices (7 different flavours), Power Shots, Freshly squeezed juices and Superfood Smoothies.

WHAT IS COLD PRESSED JUICE AND HOW IS IT MADE?

Cold-pressing is made using a hydraulic press and slow pulveriser, which work together to extract the pure and nutritious juice from our fruit and vegetables. Your everyday store-bought centrifugal juicer is very different to this, as the rapidly spinning blades generate heat – this may result in a tasty pulpy drink, but the heat and the resulting oxygen introduced into the mixed juice, results in the breakdown of important enzymes and oxidation in the juice causes further breakdown.

Sunlife Cold Pressed Juicery protects and preserves the nutrients we’re so lucky to find in our fresh produce, by using a hydraulic press and slow pulveriser. We support a variety of local farms to ensure we get our hands on the best our South African soil has to offer, and we honour this fresh produce, by ensuring you get all of the enzymes, minerals, vitamins and benefits possible.

WHAT IS A JUICE CLEANSE?

A juice cleanse is essentially a fast, during which only raw cold pressed fruit and vegetable juices are consumed for anywhere between 1 to 10 days. A raw juice cleanse is a natural way to detoxify the body, giving it a needed pause from processing the many fats, additives and toxins that make their way into our daily eating habits. By ingesting these natural elements, they create essential nutritional building blocks for the body.
